Paul Dent
Founder
Paul was raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina where his family owned and operated a textile manufacturing company. Paul's mom is a nurse and taught nursing for many years while raising three children in a loving home. His dad is a fifth-generation textile executive in the family business and Paul grew up watching his dad and grandfather grow the business while treating associates like family. Their strong entrepreneurial, civic spirit left Paul with the dream of owning and operating a small business which supports his family, serves a need in the community and provides meaningful employment to others. Paul founded Oak Hill legacy Partners with the goal of realizing this dream.
Prior to Oak Hill Legacy Partners, Paul worked in small business banking for JPMorgan Chase, in healthcare consulting for Cumberland Consulting Group, and most recently as Regional VP Operations at AMSURG – an ambulatory surgery center management company. Paul oversaw the operations of 13 surgery centers from Detroit down to Houston.
Paul received an MBA from Vanderbilt Business School and his bachelor’s degree from Sewanee, graduating with a major in political science. He is a husband, father, church deacon, outdoor enthusiast and little league coach.

Paul cycled 3,518 miles across America, unassisted, from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean.
Supporting Team
Paul is incredibly grateful to have the love and support of his wife Grace and 3 children -- Hank, Monroe and Jack.
Grace spends her working hours outside the home as a psychotherapist in private practice and inside the home soaking up the precious moments as a mother of 3 youngsters. She enjoys cooking, walking and time in nature.
Grace grew up in Louisville, KY and now that Paul and Grace have planted roots in Nashville, they are committed to the growth and prosperity of the community they call home.
